Anthony was admitted to practice as a Solicitor in NSW in 1981 and in the Northern Territory in 1987. He has worked for The Legal Aid Commission and for the Commonwealth Attorney General's Office.
He has been in private practice in Parramatta for the past 23 year concentrating on Family Law for the last 20 plus years.
Anthony qualified at Bond University in Mediation, after forming a view Court proceedings were not always the best option and has a commitment to attempting to negotiate settlement rather than start Court proceedings. Anthony is also qualified as a Independent Children's Lawyer at the College of Law, such that he can be appointed by the Court to represent children in Family Law proceedings.
Anthony has extensive experience in property settlements in Family Law, ranging from the typical situation of a family home and superannuation to complex situations of multiple pieces of real estate, Company structures, Trusts, Family Trusts and ones involving third parties. Anthony's experience is again across the whole spectrum of property settlement from privately negotiated agreements to contested proceedings and appeals. He has been referred to as "one of the most experienced Family Lawyers in the country".
Anthony has extensive experience at all levels of Family Law regarding children, from negotiating arrangements for children to the conducting of contested proceedings regarding children in the Federal Magistrates Court and the Family Court.
